He asked Glenn to confirm that the landing-bag switch was in the off position, then asked, "You haven't heard any banging noises or anything of this type at higher rates?"

10:32 a.m. (45 minutes): The current tracking station is a ship in the Indian Ocean, near the island of Madagascar off the east coast of Africa. Glenn reported watching a sunset five minutes before, and has just acknowledged seeing -- via periscope -- the moon coming up behind him.
Jimmy Dimora federal racketeering trial: Prosecution rests case, defense begins next week
Prosecutors finished their case against Jimmy Dimora early this afternoon as an IRS agent revealed a few more details about the finances of the former Cuyahoga County Commissioner, who is on trial on federal racketeering charges. The judge sent the jury home until Monday, when defense attorneys are expected to begin their case on behalf of Dimora and co-defendant Michael Gabor Jr.
'Colbert Report' off air; Comedy Central mum
NEW YORK (AP) - Comedy Central's "Colbert Report" is off the air and it's a mystery why. An expected live version of the show was replaced by a repeat on Wednesday. Comedy Central said Thursday's live show will be off, too. The network said it was airing the repeats "due to unforeseen circumstances," but offered no other explanation.
Jimmy Dimora federal racketeering trial: IRS says ex-commissioner didn't report $166K in income from 2004-07
AKRON, Ohio -- An IRS agent said this morning that former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora failed to report $166,141.18 in income earned from 2004-07. Special Agent Kelly Fatula, who works for the criminal division of the Internal Revenue Service, said the income includes the value of items from various years that include home improvement work, limousine services, female entertainment, catering services and a tiki bar installed at his Independence home.
