Las Vegas salmonellosis outbreak blamed on pet turtles
Six Clark County residents have been tied to a multi-state outbreak of salmonellosis caused by exposure to small turtles, the Southern Nevada Health District said. The six join the 149 other people in 28 other states who have experienced similar infections due to interactions with the animals.
